The Kohler 8464, 8465, and 8466 Diamond-Shaped Micro Mirrors are precision German-made microsurgical mirrors designed for enhanced visualization during endodontic microsurgery and microscope-assisted procedures. Featuring flexible shafts and ultra-thin diamond-shaped mirror heads in 2 mm, 3 mm, and 4 mm sizes, they provide exceptional access and visibility in confined surgical sites. Used with the Kohler 6789 Handle, these mirrors offer excellent control, flexibility, and ergonomic handling during delicate procedures.

Description

The Kohler 8464 (2 mm), 8465 (3 mm), and 8466 (4 mm) Diamond-Shaped Micro Mirrors are part of the renowned PENN ENDO CREATION series developed in collaboration with Prof. Syngcuk Kim for advanced endodontic microsurgery and microscopic visualization. Designed specifically for modern microscope-assisted dentistry, these precision instruments provide outstanding visibility of apical areas, osteotomy sites, root surfaces, and difficult-to-access surgical regions.

Unlike traditional round mirrors, the diamond-shaped mirror design allows superior adaptation to elongated buccal and lingual root anatomy, especially during apicoectomy and microsurgical procedures. The flexible shaft design enhances maneuverability and access in confined operative fields while maintaining excellent visual clarity under magnification.

The mirrors are available in three working sizes to suit different surgical requirements:

  • 8464 – 2 mm diamond-shaped micro mirror for ultra-conservative and restricted surgical access
  • 8465 – 3 mm diamond-shaped micro mirror for versatile microsurgical visualization
  • 8466 – 4 mm diamond-shaped micro mirror for broader operative field visibility

All mirrors are designed for use with the Kohler 6789 TRINOVO Handle, an ergonomic lightweight handle engineered for precise balance and control during microsurgical procedures. Manufactured in Germany with premium-quality materials, the system ensures durability, precision, and optimal performance under dental microscopes and loupes.
